Memory block 4.


none of the investigation icons show up on the map :( even after clearing all th view points in the cities.

For some reason on the memory log thing it has none of the view points being cleared even though all the ones on the select map


any ideas?

Hi Ken,

I'm about to finish Memory Block 3, so I'll let you know if I encounter anything odd on Memory Block 4.

if u haven't noticed on your map there are 3 districts in each city u have to go into one of the other two districts and find one of the towers and do the syn thing and it will bring up the objectives in the area or u might have to go find another tower but they will all be on the map for that area

yea its doing that same damn think to mine, ive cleared every single view and talked to all the bureau guys.

wtf! i am having the same problem as ken and protoman. its so frustrating. ive gone through every city, and gone to every view point and there are no investigations. someone PLEASE help.

And you're all in the correct part of the city that you're supposed to be in, right? I mean you're not re-doing viewpoints that you've already activated, right?

Let me get this straight.

You're going to a new section of city where you see maybe an icon for a viewpoint. You activate it to reveal all the other viewpoints in the area. You go to each of those viewpoints (which are all marked on your map...after you clear it, the icon disappears from the map) and clear them all out.

After you clear out all the viewpoints you're still not seeing any investigation icons AND you're not getting credit for clearing those viewpoints?

Another question. Even if you don't get an investigation icon you can still do the investigation if you randomly come upon it. For example, if you're just wandering around the city you may run into a pickpocket investigation that you're supposed to complete. Are you able to do any of the investigations by just finding them in the city?

I'll look into this and see if I can find anything.

Also, in your map screen you can toggle what you want to be viewed. For example, you can view every icon...just investigation icons...just secondary icons...etc. (can't remember the exact names but they're in the walkthtrough). Make sure that you didn't accidentally change what icons your map is showing.

Yup im getting the same problem as every1 here, but im doing everything and idk how to even get in the other districts. They r all blocked off by the stupid memory wall thing

Ok and ive bene searching through tons of sites and they're saying like go to blurry parts and find towers
and other ppl say like search the town realy good and u will find things like pickpockets and stuf but nothings makin sence cuz like i think ive done all that ive gone to every tower and u jus cant get past

One district is unlocked each time you do an assassination. There are nine assassinations and nine districts (three districts in each of the three cities).

I still haven't found anything definitive on this particular glitch. Also, I'm wondering if you've gone and talked to the district chief at the Assassin's Bureau in the particular district you're trying to do the assassination in.

To all the people having the "no marker" issue...

Upon entering a new district the view point markers won't be there. You'll have to look for and climb a tall tower (any of the tall towers will do). Clearing this one viewpoint will show you the remaining view points.

Upon clearing each of the view points, if there is an investigation nearby, it'll appear.

That is how it's supposed to go.

To recap: Enter new area. No markers are on the map. Climb the first tall tower you see to show you the other view points on the map. Clear all of the viewpoints to see all of the investigation markers.

What are you doing differently?

yeah I'm getting the same problem! ITS ANNOYING!

yeah I'm in the right part of the town and i havent re-done any viewpoints...I've also visited the Buraeu (can't spell that :S)
I've cleared all the viewpoints and all the "viewpoint" icons have disapeared... I've also saved all the citizens! I'm in Jerusalem btw... STILL NO INVESTIGATION ICONS!
I've pretty much walked all through the district and I haven't encountered any investigations...but it's so big that I might have missed it!

how do you toggle throught the icons..its might be that...

I'm lost pls help me!

When you're on the map screen, look for the instructions (button icons) on how to toggle icons. I think it's at the bottom of the screen. If this solves your problem, please let me know.

yeah thanx i can toggle the icons now..but it still doesnt help with the investigation thing...

i went through the walkthrough guide thingo you guys did but the instructions are very "vague" it say West or North but the cities are huge..where North? Where east? etc..

anyway... im not having problems with Damascus cause all the investigation icons have appeared so now I can do it... but still no luck for Jerusalem... :S

Each city has three sections to it for a total of nine sections in the game.

You'll want to do the sections one at a time as they get unlocked. That is, do the assassination for that section and then move on to the next section (in a different city) which the assassination opened up.

You don't want to go around to various cities without completing assassinations.

It's very straightforward.

1. Go to a section of a city that is unlocked.
2. Clear all of the viewpoints.
3. Do the investigations.
4. Do the assassination.
5. Go to the next city with an unlocked section (be sure to use your map to make sure that you're not in a section of city which you've already cleared)

Good luck and let me know if you figure out what is causing your issue.

Yeah I know what to do in each city..evrything as gone fine in Memory Block 4 I've completed Acre and Damascus with no problems but I can't Figure out Jerusalem! I've gone to both the poor AND rich Districts and cleared all view points..I've saved all the citizens... but i still have NO investigation icons...and i tried to use the Walktrough guide to try and run into them without seeing the icons but the Walkthrough thingo only says WEST or NORTH so it's really hard to find the investigations that way... I'm actually beginning to think that there might be something wrong with the game I bought since everyone else seems to have found the icons after clearing the view points...i think i might exchange it where i bought it...i only bought it 2 days ago..I've had some problems with Altair freezing in mid-air and the game freezing during loading...so I think there might be something wrong with the game I bought...

The game is notoriously buggy. You're best bet would be to restart from a previous save, or erase all Ass. Creed game data from your X360, and start from the beginning.

Actually.. i went back to the store where I bought it and I got a completly new copy...but I still got to keep the old one..hehe I might frame it.. :D or sell it to one of my friends... :D ... already deleted everything... and when I came back I just sat down and played.. so now I'm already in Memory Block four..hehe I'm good at this game :P :D.. evrything is going is fine.. Damascus and Acre are finished and all the icons are showing up in Jerusalem... :D its all good!
