hey guys, im new.. i was looking all over the place for an answer to this:

in the Hall of Golems on Bryyo theres the 3 Golems that you have to activate..

now, my problem is the one where you activate it and it activates the magnetic rail for the spider ball. almost at the very end of the course.. theres this part where you have to get to this magnetic rail thats sooo much higher than a usual dinky bomb that i usually use to jump up to a different magnetic rail, but the gap is like 2 times the size so i can never reach it. maybe i am a newb at the spider ball and dont know its full potential.. or maybe im missing something.. any help to jump that gap would be nice.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried two bombs? I think thats all you have to do.

First of all, sorry for the triple post.

Now, yes, you must do the double bomb jump. lay one bomb, and as soon as that bomb is going to explode, lay another. Then, when you get to the peak of your jump from the first jump, lay another bomb. When you come back down, your second bomb will go off, sending you into the third that will explode and get you that extra height you need. this may sound complicated, but with some practice it will become very easy. Also note that theres some missle expansions and energy tanks that can be aquired in various other morph ball mazes using the same technique.

haha, yea. ive been programming my game a lot recently (plus school). However, i did manage to get past norion... i remember the spacestation boss being much harder on hypermode than on regular... i died 2 times, whereas having 2 energy tanks to spare  . And as you stated shark, its much harder, thus much more fun  .

Nm I figured it out-you have to do a triple bomb jump in the duct within the same room.

Looks like the thread is slowing down a lil  .

I came back cuz i beat the game on all three difficulties and therefore have all three black dots beside my profile on the main menu. Is this supposed to do somethin? Also, for everyone who has beaten the game with 100%, what did u think of the...spoiler (wont say what it is, but u know)? please reply with your ideas.

I feel absolutely stupid but:

In Skytown, when you are informed of the existence of chozo technology by the computer, there is a span with a bunch of blocked grapples, a morph ball tunnel inside you use to drop the things blocking your way, and some robots at the end you have to kill so they don't knock you off the four grapple points. On the other side is the platform I need to get to. I swing to the end after killing the robots and I cannot figure out what to do in order to reach the platform on the other side. Would someone give me the step by step of what you have to do to get to the other side? (I will let you mock me all you want.)

Here is a link to our walkthrough:
http://www.lunabean....lkthrough_3.php

I've linked you directly to the first time you're in Skytown, however, you visit here twice more in the game (at least), so if this isn't where you are, look in the Table of Contents for the other Skytowns.

hi,

I (and my boss) have gotten as far as the wrecked ship and a little past the Grand Court on Bryyo. The problem is that we cannot find the necessary upgrades (the swinging lasso) in order to get to the wrecked ship, past the part just beyond the grand court, or up to the ledge above the Grand Court. I have tried everything, even going back to the first planet and on to the second to scan and rescan and travel everything and everywhere i can possibly see/find. Please help. I NEED to get past this part. Ive been stuck on it for a while now and it is driving both my boss and I CRAZY.

please help.

Thanks

I am in the same situation. Im on Bryyo and I cannot get back out of the Grand Court room because the ledge is to high and i don't have what im assuming is the swinging lasso / some other kind of grappling hook. Did I miss something? There's those little yellow diamonds hanging in the ceiling, scan them and I don't have the necessary upgrades to use them yet.

Help please x_x;

ok here you go.......when you get to the point in which you are stuck, i assume it is in the pit with the big dead thing in the middle of the floor, you must kill the lizard "thingies". once the lizards are dead, a stone face will reveal a door. go through the door (the only direction you can go). you will jump down two steps. there will be some enemies waiting for you. kill them. you will notice a canyon too wide to jump. across the canyon is a door....this is your goal. on your left side, you will see vines. scan this area and you will notice a missle expansion, some glowing worm things, and another creature (the worms' friend). this is where you want to be. go back the way you came. on the first step that you must jump onto, there is a small pebble (on the right side of the step). morph into a ball and bomb that pebble. a hole will appear. roll through that hole. at the end of the tunnel, you will be behind the vines with the worms. allow the worms to crawl on you. you will begin to float up toward a rock shelf. underneath the shelf is the worms' friend. as you begin to float, guide yourself to the left side of the shelf (so the worms' friend doesn't get you) use the joystisk to guide you. once you get past the shelf, guide yourself (worms still on you) to the topside of that shelf. the worms will drop you on that shelf. once you've dropped onto the shelf use a bomb to kill the remaining worms still stuck to you. you should be able to get the missle expansion and continue through the tunnel to the lasso. hope this helps......maxxrocket

HELP!!!
I'm stuck on Elysia, I've defeated the mini steambot boss and have now been locked in the room. I can now see the grapple points on the release valves, but it wont let me grapple them to pull and release the valves. I've tried everything I know ,missles, powered beams, morph ball bombs, taken the disk out and restarted it and restarted the level many times. But nothing has worked so far, any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm new here and just bought Metroid prime trilogy. I have already completed the original Metroid prime. Now I'm working on the second and third. I consider myself a pretty good gamer. I am up to the second place in Bryyo. I will try to catch up as quick as I can.

I need some help. I'm on the planet Elysia, and I don't know what to do. I have gotten through most of the planet, and all I have to do is get the bomb components. But the problem is, whenever I go to the place where the first bomb component is supposed to be, it says that I need the Thronian Transport Module or something like that. My ship already has the grapple function, so what do I need to do now? Please help!
