hi,

I (and my boss) have gotten as far as the wrecked ship and a little past the Grand Court on Bryyo. The problem is that we cannot find the necessary upgrades (the swinging lasso) in order to get to the wrecked ship, past the part just beyond the grand court, or up to the ledge above the Grand Court. I have tried everything, even going back to the first planet and on to the second to scan and rescan and travel everything and everywhere i can possibly see/find. Please help. I NEED to get past this part. Ive been stuck on it for a while now and it is driving both my boss and I CRAZY.

please help.

I am in the same situation. Im on Bryyo and I cannot get back out of the Grand Court room because the ledge is to high and i don't have what im assuming is the swinging lasso / some other kind of grappling hook. Did I miss something? There's those little yellow diamonds hanging in the ceiling, scan them and I don't have the necessary upgrades to use them yet.

Help please x_x;

I'll be playing the game all day and will update you if/when I get to that point.

guys, it seems u need the 'grapple swing' upgrade, and heres how u get it:

-navigate through the gateway hall
-once the puzzle in the gateway is complete go to the door on your right (right of where u entered).
-grand court path is where u should be now, so navigate through here
-u will end up in the grand court (which i presume makes u 'trapped' because u need the grapple swing to get back out)
-kill the guys in there to make the statue in the wall retract, giving you entrance to hillside vista.
-now this is where my memory gets fuzzy XD. you need to make your way to the statue (once u get grapple swing, the only way to get to where that statue was is by using it, so i cannot remember how to get to it... but if you are there then..) and use your grapple lasso to pull away the cover of the statue, then use a missle on the glowing red thingy.
-this should remove the statue and allow entrace to the relinquary 1 (the place where u obtain the grapple swing).

ok, if i have lead you all on a wild goose chase and got u an energy tank instead of the grapple swing i sincerely appologize in advanced... i got a terrible memory...

ok, now for my problem :blush2: . since you are all on bryyo im assuming u have all done elysia? or not... i have no idea, because on elysia there is a room with a chozo statue and a bunch of phazon vines covering it. this room is really driving me insane because when you try to get on the chozos hand... it stalls and spits you back out. scanning the vines surrounding it tell u that u need to use the PED in order to blow up the phazon roots. but theres 1 problem... ... ... THERES A DARN BARRIER IN THE WAY. i tried shooting through the small opening which gets u onto the chozo statue but nothing happens. any assistance is GREATLY appreciated and i hope some1 found my information useful.

Alright, I figured it out.

Obviously it looks as if Hillside Vista is a dead end. It isn't. As soon as you jump down from the door and jump off of the two cliffs (that lead to the door that is now behind you) and do a 180 and turn a around. You'll see something that looks as if it can be blown up with a Morph Ball bomb. Indeed it can be. Proceed!

I was stuck here for a while, but eventually figured it out. I'm lovin' the game so far!

the answer to all your problems guys is actually very simple....you need to go into morph ball mode and bomb a small stone for an opening. It is right beneath the ledges in the area aftr the grand court where you cant cross because ther is a large drop and you need the grapple swing upgrade....

Alright... here we go... the gell room the one you can't figure out there is a ledge I believe on the right side as you walk in the room after you activate the first morph ball gell thing jump up there and prime the gell what ever it is... and then charge beam the two gell fountain lookin things... and bam you are on your way up! ok now on to my problem... it might be that the pot and half of coffee that I've had is makin me twitch but I've been at it with the Damned ice guy for about 3 hours... and can almost get him but he always nails me with the Ice mourning star... I've tried the Phazon burst and that seems to help but not enough... I have two energy cells.. did I miss one? any other advice... the rocks he throws in sets of three or four contain some life but I can't seem to hit them and avoid the freeze blast he throws in at the end... please for the love of god someone get there quick....

Alright, so I am absolutely stuck right now. I just got the message saying that they discovered a docking station where I could upgrade my ships weapons. But it wont let me dock.

Ive been through all the places accessible in brynn (beat the ice guy and got to the large wall that needs to be blown up by the upgraded ship) and elysia (to the chozo statue with the vines), unless i seriously missed something. does anyone know what i have to do to be able to land at the station? or is there something i still have yet to do?

Alright, so I'm on the 3rd part of Bryyo and I've disabled the jammer thing. I use my little control visor to blow that wall up and it says gunship requires increased firepower for this command. Problem is, this is the only other place we can go, we can't go anywhere else on bryyo, so yeah.

Okay, I am in bryyo I do have the grapple swing and all the upgrades I can get at this moment (I think). I got to the part where you have to go to the Thorn Jungle Airdock and this is after I activated that thing that it said you had to go to at the beginning. And now I'm stuck and do not know how to get there. :mellow2: :blush2:

Cool, can you tell me how you figured it out? I wonder how to also, haha.

Also I'm at the lava place I just say the ice boss and he walked away, I powered the fuel thing and I raised it and it told me to do it again. Help please? In Bryyo. Also the path to the next generator thing is blocked/caged please help.

heyy. i got the game yesterday and im stuck on bryyo. i think i have all the upgrades except for the heat missile or whatever you get that can open red doors.... plz help
