Who's thinking of getting this? It was just released today, and I wasn't expecting it until March or something. I'm not the biggest fan of sports games, but it's a Mario sport game, which means it should be pretty fun in multiplayer. If 2 or 3 of you guys pick it up, I'd love to grab a copy myself, and we could have some LB Wii online multiplayer.

Edit: I'm totally not abusing my mod powers to bring attention to a thread by posting it in a high-activity board and then moving it to the appropriate board which does not get much traffic.

If you get it, we'll get it...although we'll probably rent it first, which means it might not be available to us until end of this week or early next.

Super Mario Strikers has been my least favorite of Mario sports games, but Jer loved it. I just couldn't get the hang of it. However, I'm happy to give it another try.

I've been thinking about it. I might throw it into my purchase when I go and buy the 360 HD-pork loin player and rechargable battery thing I need to buy soon. Nothing like blowing 300 bucks in one go.

Okay, we got it. We're learning the basics. Alas, we only have one nunchuk, however, and I didn't think about it when I was buying the game. Oy. Anyway, we'll hop online when we get a feel for it.

I bought it earlier today. God damn this is a fun game. It is especially fun with local mutiplayer. I haven't gone Online with it yet, but I definitely have a feel for it. I don't think it will be quite as fun online, because you won't get the vocals for it since there is no voice chat. (is there a "yet" here? Has that been talked at all about with Nintendo?)

A friend and I just got out of a good 5 straight hours of playing it. Pick up another nunchuck guys, it'll be worth it. We are both in a mad frenzy about Smash Bro. Brawl, so we kinda took the tackle feature in this game to a new level. He, some how explainably, managed to get 62 tackles in a single match. It was pure insanity. We usually averaged about 25-35 a match. It's amazing.

My favorite captain/team set up is Waluigi or Dasie(same stats) with Ghost, Hammer Bros, and as of late, the mole guy whos name I forgot. Waluigi's special item thing is so freaking cheap if you use it right, it's awesome.

I work at 5 tomorrow, so if I am online tomorrow afternoon between whenever the hell I wake up and about 3:30, hit me up on Google Talk and I'll hop online and we'll give it a whirl.
