man your walkthrough is really informative even if it is still "under creation"... so I have one question - how to do the Severus Snape mini-quest? I can't find the book in the library... can you help me because this is driving me nuts :biggrin:

I am having trouble getting past the plants in herbology near Neville Longbottom. I am using incendio on the plant that is in the doorway, but it takes 30 minutes to get past it. I used the same spell on the second plant for 1 hour with no success. Am I doing something wrong? Any advise is appreciated.

But im having trouble with getting Dean Thomas into the DA's room. I need to find the 5 "Wasserspeier" (german version, don't know the english name) but i only found 4 of them. Is there anyone out there to help me? Took me 1 h right now...

Hi,
I haven't hit the Snape or Dean Thomas quests yet (I'll focus on them early today to see if I can help). Regarding the Neville quest and using Incendio, well, I didn't have much trouble. I can tell you that you need to be in a spot where Neville, Hermione, and Ron can help you. In other words, make sure you aren't blocking them. Also, when I've had problems with spells, it's helped to tap the Camera button ("C" if you're playing on the Wii), to line the camera directly behind Harry. If you figure out what the problem is, or if someone else knows, please let me know, and I'll add it to the guide.

hey if anyone has the same problem with snape's mini-quest and were to find that book than just go to the library and at the end of restricted section on the left you will see that the bookcase has no books (strange...) and just press action button... :rolleyes:

Hi, got problems while seeking the DA team members, I am under the Invisibility cloak but I cannot get rid of it to talk to the DA member I found, any clues...

Hi, you must do the incendio spell constantly until the plant dissapears, this is by moving up and down the control, as shown by Hermione earlier in the game.

There is a map I posted before but I am putting it with more details this time:

Open image and then:
1) Gargoyle is near the tree in the middle of the park;
2) When you climb upstairs you will see the gargoyle;
3) From this location go to the balcony and then turn to your left;
4) In this area you will see collapsed stairs and you just have to fix them and go to the end;
5) Go to the bridge and you will see it.

Hannah Abbott - you just have to talk to her and than climb upstairs until the first secret passage (painting). When you talk to him he will tell you the password (you won't need to do anything) and then simply go back to Hannah and talk to her.

About the cloak - just simply go back to the boys dormitory and again press action button on your trunk (from were you got the cloak the first time) and then talk to Ginny Weasley and thats it!

Did you already got the box of Fred and George in Umbrigde's Room? For that you will need the cloak.

P.S.: Finally i messed with Lord Voldemort in the Ministry, but after that im back at hogwarts and have only 60% of the game completed...

I've reached 60% of the game but I don't know where to go next! Ron and Hermione tell me to find the other DA members and that they are on the Marauder's map but I can't see them! Plzz help

OH MY GOODNESS DID THIS TAKE ME FOREVER!!! Ok after you help Ginny with the second swamp you have to go to the paved courtyard and find the 3rd swamp to disburse

as far as i can remember..

i found..
1) Great Hall - (Clothes / scarf?)
2) Trasnfiguration Courtyard - (Shoes)
3) Viaduct Entrance (Volo Furtulus Unus portrait) - (Daily Prophet / The Quibbler?)
4) Library - (An Eagle Head / Hat)
5) I CANT FIND THE LAST ONE!!! =(

You have to go back to the Harry's dormitory. Then walk to the trunk you got the cloak from. Press the action button while standing in front of the trunk. There should be a short cinematic of Harry putting the cloak into his trunk
