Ghost Town

Man, this place certainly died out! Seems strange, but I guess people get older and don't have the time to hang out on the computer as much. I saw there was not even a link to the forums on the new site build-up, which is beautiful, by the way. Anyways, I came here for a Portal 2 question, and I see there is no guide for it, which is fine as I've passed the stage already. I was just wondering how the stage is supposed to be completed because I'm about 95% sure I got lucky and used a glitch I found to be a level. Well, I suppose I'll ask my question in the appropriate thread.

Portal 2

So my 7 yr old son and I are playing co-op mode, and we come to a room, I believe right after the one where you have to kill a bridge beam and both Atlas and P-body fall into portals launched at each other to land on a platform. The stage in question starts you near a bridge beam pointed at a wall. there are a set of walkways and eventually stairs that lead to a locked door. next to the door is a glowing red space where a ball goes, some of which are being launched from an unseen spot on the other side of the level.

Long story short, we passed it. In what I 95% believe is a glitch, I used portals to place a vertical bridge beam in the path of the shooting ball. Except, that was pretty much it. I timed the portal to open as the ball was just underneath it, which made the ball fall straight down instead of bouncing back to the inclined wall opposite it. My son waited at the bottom and grabbed the ball as it was falling. Needless to say, this took about 10 minutes of aggravation and working out the timing.

My problem is, that stage is eating at me. I want to know how it is supposed to be completed. I consider myself pretty smart, and finished single player already in just a few days, but I can't stand not knowing how that level is supposed to be completed. Can anybody help me out?

Top PSP games

Hey guys,

I’ve been able to speak to a couple of you previously. I’m like one of the only female gamers in here, so thanks for taking me in.  I put up my top five list of best PSP games to date on the blog and wanted to get some feedback. I included oldies like Pursuit Force and Grand Theft Auto. Do I hear any agreement with those? Go check out my #1 also. Haha. There was a top 25 article today on the net, so I decided to make my own. If I’m really interested in games that I won’t get bored with after 20 minutes, what would you recommend?

SINGULARITY by Raven. Best game of 2010 !!! Better of Half Life 2 !!

Last week i bought the new Raven ( Activision ) FPS video game SINGULARITY. I got to play it, and found out that it’s fantastic, inventive, refreshing, brutal, and frankly, the most fun I’ve had with an FPS in a long time. !!!

Singularity's main gameplay device is an artifact known in the game as the TMD (Time Manipulation Device). This device is powered by a very small E-99 core, and can manipulate timespace on a virtually limitless scale. The TMD can move an object backwards or forwards in time, attract something and hold it indefinitely, or send a pulse of energy that can stun or even kill enemies. The only weakness is that the TMD powers can be applied only to living beings or objects that have been in contact with E-99 (supposedly, almost everything on Katorga-12 is imbued with the element, but in practice, the TMD can only affect a limited set of objects). Some living beings, like the Spetsnaz Elite troopers who are covered in a heavy armor designed to repel E-99, are immune as well. The TMD can also be used in conjunction with special power stations scattered across the island that greatly amplify its power. In some instances, the player can use this to restore entire ruined bridges or wrecked ships to their pristine state in order to progress. However, these major alterations are highly unstable and will begin to revert almost immediately, forcing the player to dash through the restored structures as they start to decay and collapse around him.

http://www.myfantasyweb.com/singularity/Thumb009.jpghttp://www.myfantasyweb.com/singularity/Thumb035.jpghttp://www.myfantasyweb.com/singularity/Thumb074.jpg
( CLICK FOR ENLARGE )

You have the ability to slow down time for individual enemies, leaving everything else (including yourself) running at full speed. Have fun to throw time dilation bubbles into the combat area, turning bad guys into frozen sitting ducks. You can pump them full of bullets, then deactivate the bubble and watch as every shot catches up at the same time. You can use that same bubble as a shield, to slow down incoming fire.

http://www.myfantasyweb.com/singularity/Thumb098.jpghttp://www.myfantasyweb.com/singularity/Thumb094.jpghttp://www.myfantasyweb.com/singularity/Thumb077.jpg
( CLICK FOR ENLARGE )

With TMD it's possible to rapidly age enemies to death and devolve them into zombies and let them do the work for you. You can shockwave them into the air, freeze them in time, then devolve them into zombies, and unfreeze them just as one of their friends gets close. Oh, and did I mention that you also have a gravity gun? And a sniper rifle with bullets you can steer manually? And a railgun that works like Gears of War’s Torque Bow? And that every skirmish area is a wide, multi-levelled playground of tactical angles of attack, designed to bring out every ounce of creative violence in your body?
