OK...so, I want to start posting videos of musical performances that we all love. If no one else is willing to do it, I will do it for as long as I can. I just think it is a nice break from the stress of everything, to see what music hits each of us. I only want one of these videos a day, preferrably "Late Night". So, we will see how this works out.

While I was inspired to post because I saw someone do it with an Ani DiFranco performance from last night's Conan, I looked through YouTube's Ani offerings, and found one I liked better, as it was a song that meant a lot to me for a long time...and still gets me boosted, when necessary.

So, with that, I present Ms. Ani DiFranco and "32 Flavors":

Okay, I'm PMSing hardcore and for some reason Nick Lacheys 'Whats Left of Me' video was on VH1 and I bawled my little puffy eyes out. I'm not one for celebrity drama, but it reminded me of how it feels when your heart is obliterated in to a bajillion pieces and you feel like you'll never recover. Yes I know there is a crap load of good heartbreak songs, but for some reason watching all the stuff disappear in the video hit me. How the little thing you never notice when you're with someone seem to make huge holes once they are gone. So here, my PMS filled cry fest.

Also, he's damned hot!

I love the dude who bangs on the drum and the tamborine with the single drum stick. "Um, eddie, yeah, why don't you take these two things and beat on them..."

I really like the sound, though. And, granted, David Bowie is there, but the singer kinda sounds like him.

Ha, yeah. He does more then just bang on the drum and tamborine with also playing keyboard, electric guitar, and accordion. He also has an awesome side project in The Bell Orchestre. But yeah, banging that drum and tamborine is still incredible. ha

I have got to still see them live. Should happen this fall around there second albums release.

It's 11:20 on a Sunday night. I've had a bad day. I'm pissed. One of my favorite songs is "Feelin' Alright" by Traffic. One of my favorite bands is The Black Crowes. Here's a performance of the Black Crowes covering "Feelin' Alright" from David Letterman in 1994. I'm feeling better already:

Sure this song isnt as great without all the female vocalists and other things like on the album, but it's still amazing like this.

One of my favorate songs : For The Widows In Paradise, For The Fatherless In Ypsilanti (performed by Sufjan Stevens)

Yeah, I don't think Sufjan can write a bad song.

You should really just go and buy his album "Illinoise" and "Michigan". Both are brilliant, but Iliinoise more so. If you don't believe me, buy the song "chicago" with the one I sent you the video for, hah.

I'm liking babyshambles, too. It feels like a great 80s British band...

Anyway, I'm going with Ween tonight. I love Ween. Almost every song has a different sound...even genre...going for it. Anyway, I didn't know this song had a video. All I'm going to say is this song was played often during happy "altered states" in college. It still makes me laugh like it did then. Granted, it may not be that funny, but it left me with a happy little footprint in my mind:
