Metriod Prime sucked personally. I hate all that F**king backtracking.

I really need to get Tales of Symphonia.

I'm playing it. I'm liking it better than I thought I would...and remember, I have weird RPG issues and I have no anime exposure. It's fun, but it still suffers from the whole "lazy man's game" that made me hate RPG's in the first place. There's a ton of story, but not a whole heck of a lot of game. I'll keep pushing through tomorrow to get a better grasp on it, and I am liking it the deeper I get...but my jury is still out.

By the way...I think I saw the teacher punch our hero, along with the dad. What's that about?

Raine is a very violent woman.
actually, Raine isn't quite right in the head

something you may want to keep in mind is that despite the game's cutesy anime graphics, it's a very dark, violent story.

and if you get stuck, you know who to ask :D

yeah, until just now i thought it was a regular story, but it just turned into a great one. i'll try not to spoil anything, but if you get bored of the story early on, it gets really, REALLY good.

First, Metroid Prime was a total shit-piece.

Second, I'll be trading it in to help pay for this game, along with a few others.

Especially on the back of Genis' head

Anyway, i absolutely love Tales of Symphonia now. At the beginning, it's a little slow, but it picks up and is extremely awesome. And like Lizking said, the story is rather dark and violent...well, from what i've gone through, which is only around 9 or 10 hours

And mawied, i agree with Metroid Prime, only cause i'm not a huge FPS fan, and I got $4 from trading it in at EBGames

you fools should've pre-ordered it, ebgames gives you a $10 minimum for all non-sports games you trade in for a pre-order.

once again, the game keeps getting better. i must know though, i'm about 18 hours into the game and i just got presea or whatever in my party (to give you an idea of where i am), and still no anime. have any of you seen any yet?

I would've pre-ordered it, except i bought it the day after it came out, so no luck there. I'm around 12 hours into it, and i need to figure out where to go. Damn the game, sending me mixed messages. Presea looks pretty cool though. Sheena = The Best

i see this is a good thing. FMV takes lots of disk space, space that could be used for game.

For some reason i think most of the anime will be on the second disc, which is precisely why there are two. OPne for an overload of game, and then one for the end and anime, but that's just my theory. Well, 64 1/2 more hours to go

Look, metroid prime was in no way, shape, or form a bucket of shit. YOU ALL KNOW THAT. EVEN IF YOU HATED IT LIKE ME, YOU STILL KNOW THAT.

The graphics were magnificent, the controls were very good, the music and sound effects were superb. It's just...well...it WASN'T metroid. It never once FELT like metroid for me. I got like an hour and fourty five minutes in and I just couldnt play anymore. I got the charge beam and quit...because it made me sad. I was samus, right? I didn't feel like samus. F**k YOU NINTENDO AND RETRO STUDIOS.

I am currently playing Metroid I'm a little behind I know, but I think it's a great game admittedly the backtracking sucks, but it's kinda cool in the sense that once you get a new weapon that you didn't have before that you needed in other areas it makes you think about it and exlpore the area a little more. The battles with the bosses are awesome so far except for it's so easy to not die because you have so much life.

Chris you'll be happy to know that there are anime cutscenes during the game. How domi know? Well at the end of the 1st disc there's 2 or 3, which are pretty good. So, now i'm on the second disc and i've only played around 30 hours. So i don't think the game will be a full 80 hours unless the second disc is WAY longer than the first one. And how the story is going, it doesn't look like it wil. Then again, the story has taken about 5 million plot twists, which are REALLY starting to annoy me. I really hope the game isn't made long by little thingas happening, forcing you to go on sidequests that are retarded

If i AM at the end (which made me think so cause they said they were "going to the final battle") there were SO many little polot twists popping up. Most of which i ahd alreayd figured out. I still need to check how much time i've played. i'm thinking around 40 hours
